Been there. Broken out from that.

Hi, we’re Mary and Sammy, Fawn's teen co-founders.

We're two California sisters who've been exactly where you are now. Stumped at Sephora. Binging skinfluencer videos. Begging our mom for skincare products in cute packaging. But she warned us that the popular creams and serums we wanted were made for older skin. And that all those unnecessary ingredients would CAUSE irritation and breakouts.

Okay we admit it. Mom was right.

She is a board certified dermatologist after all.

After our skin lit up with pimples, we were all ears. What do we do now? Have mom science up a new kind of skincare that’s actually made for young skin? YES PLEASE.

Tested on teenagers. (Us)

Mom hit up her chemist to customize 4 knockout products that could hang with our hormones without messing with our skin barrier. And we’ve had mad clear skin ever since. Finally, the skincare universe is showing up for teens.

Peace, love, and freckles.

Word from the derm.

Hi, I’m Ashley Magovern, founder of Manhattan Dermatology (and Mary and Sammy). Teens from all over Los Angeles (and their parents) trust me to tame their troubled skin. The mom in me understands young people want a simple, effective, grownup routine of their own. But the dermatologist in me knows young skin needs different care—it can’t handle the rich, oil-based products made for adult skin. Many adult skincare products also contain added ingredients and chemicals that may cause irritation and harm to young faces. Fawn takes serious care of teen skin without overtreating its delicate biome. In other words, we’re helping Gen Z skin act its own age.

Using our skinfluence for teens in need.

The Fawn fam donates skincare and hygiene kits to teens in need through our non-profit Project Skincare. Founded by Mary Magovern (when she was 14), Project Skincare is another example of young people putting serious skin in the game to show up for their world.
